Not a bad location for Korean stews. Service was excellent and extremely friendly. By far one of the best levels of service when considering the number of Korean food places that fail to do this properly. Would have to say it's on par with wangama on north road that I've been going to for the last 10 plus years. The stews are flavorful. The seafood pancake is full and crispy. Only dish that failed to meet a good level of acceptance and deliciousness was the tonkatsu. Wouldn't recommend this. The sauce is not quite right and the meat not as tender. The rice was warm to cold but the salad was fine. Their signature stew was excellent as was their everything stew. Will try their number 2 stew on the menu next time. Recommend a visit for sure.
It serves traditional Korean foods, like pork bone soup and cold noodles. The pork bone soup is a must-try, other dishes are also yummy. Friendly staff and cozy ambiance make it a good choice for Korean cuisine enthusiasts.(hope it will serve jajangmyeon someday
Great place, friendly service. Food is good. So much to choose from. If you take beef, I think the short rib is the best.
I have been eating here since it opened so that was like more than 6 years ago. Best service amongst Korean places I’ve been around town. Best food selections. (I tried almost everything on the menu). They are very busy so please understand when you see one or two people working and they got tables to clean, do dishes and serve you. If you want good Korean food and good Canadian service, come here and TIP LOTS!
Definitely good corean food! Special highlight for the pork cutlet and seafood pancake, both were incredibly delicious. The menu does not have a big list of options but are enough to not get lost, I prefer that way. Affordable prices compare to downtown Vancouver. Service was fast and accurate. It is one of those places that does not look fancy but has the most important thing what matters in a restaurant which is great food. I would love to go back to explore other options in the menu even though the commute is really far from my home, probably next year during a more shiny and warm season like spring or summer so I can try the cold noodles.
It's our favorite restaurant in Vancouver. We looooove their pork cutlet and sweet patato starch spicy&cold noodles. They are amazing.
The food is amazing, she clearly states that you should add your own salt and pepper because their ox soup wasn’t seasoned. I much prefer it that way, I get to determine how salty or not I personally like it. What’s there to complain about? The cutlets were crispy and delicious, a perfect meal.
This restaurant is recommended by my friend! Tonkatsu here was very delicious! I also ordered pork and potato soup! This was awesome! I really want you to order it when you come here. Yummy!!! The staff was also very kind. Thank you for explaining about menu. I'll be back again
